All good things must come to an end.
I am posting here to inform the masses that Retro Dance Party is being retired effective 1:00 AM-ish EST November 26, 2009. That being said, I am broadcasting my final mixshow on Wednesday November 25 on Renegade Retro beginning at 10 PM Eastern. I may start a little early if I get home from work early. The finale will be full of your 80's favourites. Requests accepted and appreciated. I will keep my annoying babbling on the air to a minimum to give you the most music for your time.
It has been my pleasure to have the opportunity to use Renegade Retro as a creative outlet for the past 6 years. Thank you ThunderVamp9, NewRomantic and all the members and listeners here and beyond who have supported the show during its lifetime. I certainly do appreciate it. :)
Tune in to Renegade Retro this Friday and next Wednesday to get your retro mixshow fill! :thumb:

Hi everybody,

I need some help with the name of a song and the artist name for a video from the early 80's - its been bugging me for years. The video is largely black and white; its a band playing 'live', but the camera is on a track and is chasing the band around - they are looking back at it and singing, as if it is trying to catch them. I remember it being kind of punky, kind of alternative for the time. The main lyric as I recall was, 'Its just what I wanted.... and it belongs to me'.

If anyone could help, it would be extremely helpful.

Thanks all!

Hello Everybody.
I'm looking a Music video from 80's that is not very famous and the last time I saw it was a long time ago.New wave band.
The video was filmed in Egypt(you can see the pyramids, the desert, a boat on the nile river) but I'm not 100% sure it was actually there because I couldn't find any video from Egypt in the 80's.Could be a British band.
The lead singer of the video look alike the singer of VISAGE, dark hair, make up and eyeliner.I remember he also may be wearing black gloves in some parts of the video.
He's singing in the pyramids , on a boat , there's a horse riding in the desert. There's also a lady with a black lace who the singer follows in a middle east market. She's covering her face.
VIsage made a video in egypt but it's very different. The name of that video is The horseman. It is NOT this video.
I would love to find this video. Please help me out guys.Maybe I can get a part of the video from an old tape but I need to talk with my brother.
Thank you for your help!!!!
