    Level 42: Your Favorite Song

I saw in a previous thread ( http://www.80sxchange.com/forums/sho...ighlight=level ) that there are a few Level 42 fans on the Xchange. Count me as one of them.

What is your favorite song by this jazzy-synth pop group?

I expect that "Something About You" may be a runaway in this poll, but I hope there are some that have heard some of their other music.

My favorite is Leaving Me Now. I also really like Heaven In My Hands, Something About You, Lessons In Love and Running In The Family.

My vote went to "Lessons In Love". I had completely forgotten about this little gem until I listened to an old cassette that I had taped music off the radio, and this song was on there! It's a song you never hear on the radio these days (they only play "Something About You" ad nauseum), so it was a treat to hear it again!

My dad was into them more than I was.
The only one I remember was "Something About You" so I went with that one.

Picked 'It's Over' as it's the one I listened to most. Still have it on 12 inch, but can't play it anymore as my old deck won't connect to the music system! I hate CDs!!!!

What a great song and what a great group! They should have achieved so much more.

I went with "Something About You" not because it's the only song I know by Level 42, but it is my favorite! But "Tracie" and "Lessons In Love" came in a close second! Great band with a great sound. I wonder where they are now?

I picked "Something About You". I don't even know why I like it, I just do. BTW, what the heck is he saying? I only understand about half of it.

You'd like to think so, wouldn't you?

This is just one of those polls where I can't choose a favourite!

The songs 'Lessons In Love', 'Children Say' and 'It's Over' are superb, and I have never been able to choose my favourite one.

It's Over........always makes me feel sad about the one, that this song is dedicated to..........Its combination of music/lyrics takes me to a place of desperation and sadness...Great song!

    Lessons in Love

I am trying to think what Movie this was part of a soundtrack to as well.

This was hard to pick because I love Level 42.
