There is a really cool Trevor Horn remix from back then. It is a very innovative remix, because it isn't just a long version of the original.

I like many of their songs. I voted for Ocean Blue. It was either that or Look of love.

Martin Fry's voice is unique. I can definitely distinguish it amongst other Futurist acts. For this poll, I voted for "other." I like the song "Show Me" from their debut album.

Be Near Me - Ironically, I had forgotten about this song until I picked up an ABC compilation about a month ago

    Talking

So I was listening to club977.com a few months ago and heard "Poison Arrow" a few times. I found myself having this urge to listen to it. I knew I had it on one of my "Living In Oblivion" CDs. Then a few weeks later I found "The Look Of Love: The Very Best Of ABC" CD at Best Buy. I stumbled upon "All Of My Heart." I don't remember this song. Was it even released in the USA? But I see it was quite successful in the UK, reaching #6 I believe. It's become my favorite ABC song. I love the whole string arrangements and chorus. Since then, I've picked up "The Lexicon Of Love" (remastered edition). And to think I was only a year old when this album came out. So my vote goes for "All Of My Heart."

ABC were one of my favorite bands of the eighties, but naturally i am a little tired of their best known work (poison arrow, etc.), so my vote goes to... "the night you murdered love" and "how to be a millionaire", which BTW appears on the Party Monster sountrack.

I'm surprised by this poll - where is "Unzip?" I would have to say that Beauty Stab was there most talented and under-appreciated album - so many good songs on there...

    Re: ABC: Your Favorite Song

Anything from the Lexicon of Love - it's a whole album of "My favorite song's"! - their style in the early/mid 80's was way left of center for the other stuff around, but seemed to bridge the gap across music styles including a unique new wave / R&B mix....the perfect pop band of the 80's in my humble opinion! Their later stuff had songwriting class too, and it's been good to see Martin Fry resurrecting his career after a bout with Parkinson's....a truly incredible falcetto voice....

    Re: ABC: Your Favorite Song

The Lexicon of Love is possibly the greatest Pop LP of the 80's So Pure, so simple, so magnicient, so not dated one bit!

So i'll skip any song on that LP

I have a soft spot for 'How to be a Millionaire' so i'll vote for that. Something of an aberation compared to their well known silky sound, and a brave depature for it.

    Re: ABC: Your Favorite Song

I too like all of ABC's stuff, but went for "The Night You Murdered Love" (the "Sheer-Chic" Remix which I've got on CD somewhere).

My other faves are Tears are Not Enough, Poison Arrow, Look of Love, Be Near Me (which also had a remix), How to be a Millionaire
