Talking What I saw this weekend!

Ok, I know I told you before about the local movie house that shows 80s and early 90s movies every Friday/Saturday night. Well, this weekend I saw one of the best movies I have ever, and I do mean EVER seen. The black and white, INDY CLASSICCLERKS!
I have never had a chance to see it on a big screen, and my wife doesnt like the movie, so seeing it on a big movie screen, and having people there laughing along with me made it a great experience. In two weeks they have a movie from my childhood, THE GOONIES!

The Goonies! I love that movie! My 9 year old son absolutely LOVES it. We've watched it so many times that I had to go buy a new video!

    Cool

I'd love it if they re-release "Back To The Future" in theaters with never-seen-before footage. That would be a nice intro to the DVD's that are supposed to be released later this year (they were originally supposed to be released in 1997!!).

This is certainly an interesting trend with all these 80s movies coming back out again! Cool!

GOONIES!! Who could forget Chunk and Sloth?!
And what about "It's a booby trap!"

    What a great movie!

There was an arcade game of Goonies as well.. it was pretty cool, too... I was so into looking for hidden treasure after that movie... got all the neighbor kids together and we'd scout the woods and make treasure maps... they sure don't make movies like that anymore...

I also loved "Wierd Science" and of course "Purple Rain"...

I don't remember Xanadu (I remember a song called Xanadu, though) but I do remember Mannequin! That was a funny movie! In fact, if I see it at Hollywood Video, I will rent it. Ya know, I don't think they have enough videos at the video store - I never see these movies in there..

You've never seen Xanadu!!?? It's from 1980 and it has Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly in it. I must admit some of the dialogue is quite cheesy, but the movie itself is pretty good.

Maybe I need to rent Xanadu. There needs to be an 80s video store.. Hmm.. Brain swirling again.. How can I make that happen?
