My fave Cure song is Love Song.

Originally, I thought that song's title was I Will Always Love You.

    Re: The Cure

I love all of those songs...but none of them touch my favorites...and my absolute favorite (today) is Grinding Halt...but based on my 'Wild Mood Swings' I switch between that, One Hundred Years and Disintegration.

    A Letter To Elise

Oh Elise it doesn't matter what you do
I know I'll never really get inside of you
To make your eyes catch fire
    The way they should
The way the blue could pull me in
    If they only would

    Re: The Cure

I had to go with Why Can't I Be You ... I liked that song when it came out, and was really the only Cure song I liked.

    Re: The Cure

I recently buy their greatest hits CD and it brings back a lot of good memories of their bests songs. I also buy ''fascination'' (89' cd), not sure if it's the right title but all the songs are awesome specially the totally unknown titles from the people!

    Re: The Cure

Of the one's listed I'll go with 'A Night Like This' but my actual favorite is 'Like Cockatoos' from Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me. Favorite album is 'The Top'.

I voted for "Why Can't I Be You?" I got into The Cure later in their career so I don't know a lot of their earlier work.

    Thumbs up Re: The Cure

I like their song called Chains of love better. I think that's what its called. In fact I am posting a request in the club977 song request forum in a few mins probably. I did vote on the song why can't I be you.

    Cheers,

    Re: The Cure

Wow -- I was so torn. Love the Cure, love all those songs. Ultimately it was either "In Between Days" or "Just Like Heaven." I went with "In Between Days," because it's so moody/romantic. But a boy I knew in high school confessed to me that "Just Like Heaven" made him cry because it reminded him of an unnamed crush, and I later discovered said crush was me. Kind of John Hughes-esque.

    Re: The Cure

My first encounter with the cure was when 'Hanging gardens' nudged onto the top 40, i thought 'what they hell is that racket' and then realised that i actualy liked 'that racket' and caught enough of the words to cotton on to why it sounded like it did.

I do Love A Forest. and i bought many of the singles up to llulaby, since then, a major clear out and i'm down to collections 'standing on a beach' and 'stareing at the sea', never got into the LPs though.

I personly can't vote, so many to choose from, so many not there, but as a band, the alway have managed to grab my interest with their singles.
