Top 3 80s Mel Gibson Movies

Just an FYI factoid...the first Mad Max movie was in 1979, so it doesn't really qualify.

I thought it might be easier for all of us to choose if I started putting a list of the 80s movies up that the actor/actress in question was in. Let me know if y'all don't like this idea.

    Mel's 80s Movies:
Gallipoli ... Mad Max 2 ... Attack Force Z ... The Year Of Living Dangerously ... The Bounty ... The River ... Mrs. Soffel ... Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome ... Lethal Weapon ... Tequila Sunrise ... Lethal Weapon 2

    3. Tequila Sunrise - Stars another 80s great, Kurt Russell.

    2. Lethal Weapon 2 - second only to:

    1. Lethal Weapon - Loved every minute of it!

    What were your favorites?

You'd like to think so, wouldn't you?
I don't know. I lost my psychic abilities when they stole my superhero powers.

That is a good idea Val...I only wish I had noticed it before I did a search of his 80's movies! LOL!! I read your post but only on my first cup of coffee.

Mel Gibson is a good actor but the movies of his that I care for the most were 1990+ (AIR AMERICA, MAVERICK,FOREVER YOUNG, etc..). I did like Lethal Weapon though so I guess that would be my choice for the 80's.

2.) "The Year Of Living Dangerously" (Mel Gibson and Sigourney Weaver...Excellent match!)

1.) "LETHAL WEAPON" (Like there was any doubt...this was one of Mel's best movies ever...his best 80s movie, period...and a top 80s action flick to boot)
