    Most Underrated Metal Band

While Bands Like Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax & Slayer Will Live On Forever In Metal Lore, There Are Those Banda That Never Got A fair Chance At Stardom. Out Of This List Which Do You Think is The Most Underrated. My Vote Goes To Savatage. These guys Always Make Top notch Albums, Yet Have Always Lived In The Shadow Of Lesser bands suchs As 90's Era Metalligreed.

My vote would go to "other" if it were there. Symphony X.....seven albums out and still playing small halls opening for Blind Guardian and Stratovarious. They deserve MUCH more....

I don't feel too bad for Savatage....they have TSO going for them. Their bank accounts aren't hurting.

I agree with Pagan about Symphony X. They should on their own tour here in the States.

Of the choices I voted for Gamma Ray. I really like their music.

There's also a band that was so underrated they weren't even mentioned in the list.....SAXON.

These guys never got the respect they deserved....and let me tell you something, I've never seen a band that kicked more ass than they did back in the day....and I've seen ALOT of bands. Saxon was one of the best live bands out there. They haven't been stateside in awhile....hopefully they'll remedy that situation. If they do, DON'T miss them!

    Hello!

    Metal Church. Definitely.
I love Gamma Ray, Sepultura and Helloween pretty much too.

Jean.....I sent that request to you in a private message. There was no reason for you to bring it out into the forums. As for it being a greeting to a fellow Frenchman, no one has a problem with that. Just state somewhere in your post that that's what it is. To have a post entirely in another language that not everyone understands is rude. So is replying to a private message in a public forum. It was not "according to me", it's according to people that don't know what the hell you were talking about. Next time, if you have a problem with a PM I send you, respond to me with a PM also. Don't go rallying for support in the public forums.

I voted for Symphony X. This band is one of my favorite bands. I feel that they are slowly getting the credit they deserve though.

I voted for Savatage... They have never gotten the recognition they deserve! And neither has their side project TSO...

There's nothing for me to chill about.....I'm not upset in the least. Your post seemed more upset than mine. I was explaining myself. Believe me, there's nothing in these threads that would make me "fuss". You called me out in your post, which was uncalled for. That was the only reason I replied in here. I have much bigger fish to fry in my life.....

I never considered SAXON to be underated, I was never huge into Metal, and besides the big name groups Maiden, Priest, Dio, I've never had any albums or even heard of 1/2 the group listed on this list, But back in my yoot SAXON were as big as the Scorpions and Accept even my sister had a SAXON album

You're lucky then Cal...maybe in Canada they were big....but they never really caught on in the States. They always played smaller venues than Maiden or Priest or the Scorps.
