    Favorite 80s cereal

What was your favorite cereal from the 80s? Mine was Super Golden Crisp.

I had more than one favorite when it came to cereal. I liked a variety instead of eating just one. Some of my favorites were, Sugar Crisp, Corn Pops, Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, and Froot Loops.

I was always a big Captain Crunch and Golden Grahams fan (still am). I ate bowl after bowl and my mom'd have to chase me around the house because I was all hopped up on the the sugar

    Definitely Lucky Charms!

And, this was back in the days when the moons were yellow and we only had 6 marshmallows to choose from!

Ah, Lucky Charms... I can still recite them all from memory: "pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars, green clovers, and blue diamonds." (I forget important topics that I studied in college, but I still remember useless crap like this! )

Crunch Berries were definitely my favorite. I'd eat all the Cap'n Crunch first and then save the berries for last!

Just when I thought I was the only freak that did that... I was happy when they made it easy and just made a strictly crunch berries cereal

It must have been either very late in the 80s or into the early 90s, because I don't remember it (in my younger days, that is). Heck, I still remember when it used to be only FOUR marshmallows... I still think of the blue diamonds as being a "new addition."

Man...now I feel old. I remember when they added those purple horshoes too...my sputtering memory is flashing commercial bits , so I think the late 80's is probably an accurate timeframe Now they got a zillion different marshmellows
