Thumbs up Bon Jovi on the Today Show

Did everyone check out Bon Jovi on the Today Show? I went down and it was totally awesome. We got there for their warm up set at 6:30 and they played:
    It's My Life
    Say It Isn't So
You Give Love a Bad Name
    Sleep When I'm Dead
    Just Older
Then they went in until it was time for them to go live. They did It's My Life one more time as a warm-up. Then when they were live they did the same 5 songs above except they did Bad Medicine for Just Older. Jon and the boyt were in their finest form. It's My Life was meant to be heard live. The cd doesn't do it justice anymore. I would love to hear any other reviews.

Yeah, I was there among the massive crowd as well on Friday.....My girlfriend won tickets off the local radio station for a party bus into NYC to see the boys...We got there at 6:30, and there were easily 500 if not more people there already! We were so far back in the plaza that all I could see was Ritchie Sambora's head, and it looked like the size of a pin! The sound was good, and the 10 foot by 5 foot banner that my girlfriend made that said Bon Jovi, Atello, and WDHA Rock New Jersey even got on TV!. The radio station wanted us to make banners to hold up, and there's nothing like a little free national (and shameless) promotion! I haven't watched the video tape yet, but I've been told I'm on there as clear as day, right behind Ritchie when they were interviewing him for the VH 1 "Save The Music" segment of the show. Despite the crowd and the humidity, it was a lot of fun!

    Any other stories out there?

Yeah, I saw your sign there. I was standing right behind Tico and David Bryan behind the stage. That show just proved that Bon Jovi is one of the best live rock acts out there. Musically they sounded so good, and It's My Life was meant to be played with a live audience. Love to hear from anyone else that was there.
