What is Freestyle....
So, hello again! I am really trying to visit whenever I can...at least to read a few posts now and then. I think we should really expand this category! It is not widely known and should have far more interest. Maybe you should explain to the world just what Freestyle is Sal? To me, it is the music I Roller Skated to in the 80s. It is a mix between disco and techno/electronic. It is fun music with basic keyboard sounds that are very catchy and have a special meaning to many of us. My favorite Freestyle song is "Weekends" by Debbie Deb followed by Freestyle's "Don't Stop the Rock" Hee hee...this is fun!

Hi Mirdonamy! So glad to see you! Well, yes.. I do need to expand upon this area.. I will write up the definition of Freestyle, as spoken in a set up cassette tapes I bought years ago. MicMac/Timber came out with a really great 12 or 13 record set of all Freestyle songs.. I will add it in a little while... Thanks for the idea! You are always a great help...

I've heard Freestyle's Don't Stop The Rock, too!
I first heard the song on JMI100 (the nickname WJMI-FM 99.7 had most often in the '80s), in '86.I'm on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/jeffsteele
BUT...I'm NO LONGER on Twitter!
