Well i am suprised that you don't recognize any of them!!!
Having said that though, they are quite obscure tracks - but there's plenty more were the above came from, so watch this space in the future!

    N.V - Let me do you 1984
Citispeak - I dont need your handouts 1984

Out of the above tracks, the two best ones in my view are Spencer Jones with "How high" from 82 - this really is one very classy, groovy track!
The other stand out track in my view is the superb Special Forces with the track "Stroke it" from 82, on Salsoul records!
The Woods Empire track from 1981 "Sweet Delight" is also a superb standout track in my view!

I defenitely know the Richie Family track. They may not have had many hits in the 80s, being essentially a 70s disco group (everyone still seem to remember "The Best Disco In Town)
However, "I'll Do The Best For You Baby" is superb in every way.

No surprise really, since Jaques Fred Petrus produced it.

Yes indeedy K-Bee! That Ritchie Family track "I'll do my best for you baby" is rather superb and taken from their 1982 album entitled "Alright on the Night" which was also a superb individual track in it's own right!

So do any of the other tracks mentioned ring any bells??

If you've never heard that Spencer Jones track "How high" - then you are really missing out on a real gem of a tune!!
It's always the case with this sort of music (and with others i guess?) that the more obscure stuff is always the best - strange isn't it??

OOpps - i forgot to mention that i do know the gerald mallory tracks you mentioned on the first list....needless to say i like it a lot!!

I wish you luck in trying to get hold of that track K-Bee coz it's quite an obscurity to say the least, but if you do, then you will be in for a treat!
When i heard for the 1st time i was really taken in by it and it's just one of those type of 80's disco tracks that engrosses you in by the power of it's groove! (p.s-if you ever manage to get it on vinyl, then try and speed the track up, coz in a bizzare sort of way - it sounds even better speeded up strangely enough! haha)
