    April Wine

Time for another Canadian artist poll

    Your favourite April Wine song?

NOTE: In the poll, option 9 should be This Could Be the Right One. I must have been thinking Loverboy when I did the poll
Last edited by whistledog; 10-29-04 at 02:48 PM. Reason: in the poll, option 9 should read 'this could be the right one'.

I recall a couple of hits not listed in the poll:

    If You See Kay

    Roller

My favorite song by April Wine is "Sign of The Gypsy Queen". "Just Between You And Me" is a great song and "Roller" rocks!

'If You See Kay' and 'Roller' were 70's April Wine songs. I only chose their 80's songs for the poll because they had just enough 80's hits to fill the poll, and plus this is the 80sxchange

    Re: April Wine

April Wine of the 70's are so much better than their 80's work, Electric Jewels, Stand Back, The Whole World Going Crazy,as well as the Live Album (Done at QEH high school, my cousin caims you can hear him whistle from the crowd) and Live at El Macombo.

When I was kid all the older teenagers loved April Wine and I grew up listening to them, I don't care for anything later than the First Glance album.

I see them every time they come to town, and the 70's stuff still draws the largest cheers.

This is one band I don't know why they were never bigger in the US during the 70's

Like some others, I prefer their older stuff. However, for this poll, I chose "Sign of the gypsy queen".

Had to go with "Just Between You And Me." Although, "Sign Of The Gypsy Queen" comes in a close second. Very awesome songs.
Off topic. There were several names of people I wish were still here. I couldn't help feeling a little sad and nostalgic.
