A Night To Remember (1982) is my favorite, though I love most of their music (primarily the original lineup of Howard Hewitt, Jody Watley, and Jeffrey Daniels). Dancing in the Sheets would be my second vote.

Dancing in the sheets. Love that song and as far as I know it was the only hit they ever had in New Zealand. In fact I'm pretty sure it was the only one.

1982 was a great year for Shalamar. The following songs got a lot of airplay on radio in the UK at that time. I remember I went to one of my friend's house just hear the 12" versions playing on their Ghetto Blaster.

I think these are the best songs of Shalamar

    1. A Night To Remember , 1982
    2. There It Is ,1982
    3. I Can make You Feel Good,1982
    4. Friends
    5. Dead Giveaway
    6. Over and Over

    Re: Shalamar

This was one of my favorite groups of the 80's. Was sad when I heard of the break up. Found this video of Shalamar performing Disappearing Act on Top of the Pops in the UK. At the time of this performance Jody had just quit the group and was not on speaking terms with Howard or Jeffery (watch how they interact with each other). The group was under contract to complete this performance so Jody had to "suck it up" and do it. Sad story.
