    80's Trilogies

With the exception of Mad Max, all of these trilogies began in the 80's, but all of them were very popular in the 80's. Which one (out of this list) is your favourite?

NOTE: I didn't include Star Wars because it is no longer a trilogy

    I chose Die Hard.

There may be a Terminator 4 in the works.

The Back to the Future series got my vote with Indiana Jones a close second!

Hard to pick between Indiana jones and BTF. I went with Indy because each BTF movie got worse.

The only trilogy I saw and liked during the '80's, "Mad Max."

Some great trilogies there, but my vote goes for Back to the Future.

    Re: 80's Trilogies

Two absolutely stand out way ahead for me, they were great memories, films and who i watched them with. The first two in both series were classics 'Mad Max' & 'Evil Dead'. Third installment in both were ropey. I'll go for 'Mad Max' though, just because the third in that series was weak, whereas the third in the 'Evil Dead' series was crushingly poor.

Evil Dead. Bruce Campbell's performance as Ash is unbeatable. The 3rd one, be as it may, not as good as the 1st & 2nd, is still a great film thanks to Bruce.
