    Original category!

Rock me Amadeus - Falco "In 1986 Austrian rock singer Falco records......."

Re: Songs where the singer mentions himself

This is why I'm not too big a fan of Hank Williams, Jr. I think he says his name in most of his tunes so he can remember what it is.

Off the top of my head:

Family Tradition - Hank Williams, Jr. [They ask me, "Hank, why do you drink?"]
All My Rowdy Friends - HWJ [Hey, honey, this is ol' Hank]
Born To Boogie - HWJ [Well, my name is Bocephus]
If You Don't Like Hank Williams - HWJ (The title says it all )
My Name Is Bocephus - HWJ (Again with the title) [Now you all know me, this is Hank Williams, Jr., you see]

In the songs 'Young Country' and 'I Ain't Going Peacefully', Hank mentions a bunch of other artists. He mentions his Dad and his Dad's songs in quite a few songs, too.

That's all I got for now.

Every rap artist known to man mentions their own name in at least one or fifty-seven songs. I would be all day listing those....

You'd like to think so, wouldn't you?
I don't know. I lost my psychic abilities when they stole my superhero powers.

Wham! - Everything she wants (at some point, backvocals are saying "Wham! Wham!" shortly after "Girl, it's just a matter of time")
