Re: Songs You Can Listen To Over And Over

Let's see, this is pretty bad, but several of these have seen a few repeats in the car MD player in the last few weeks (I still live in the 90's, too). I hate to admit that it has a "repeat 1" button, much less that I use it all the time. My mom frequently asks why I'm hoarse when I come to see her. Two hours of Def Leppard covers is hard on the male voice. This got a little longer than I thought, but this is pretty much a list of anything I've ever repeatedly rewound or skipped back that came from the 80's.

    I Remember You-Skid Row
    Youth Gone Wild-Skid Row
18 And Life-Skid Row (that disc saw serious play when I broke my leg in '89 and couldn't do anything-heavy rotation)
    Photograph-Def Leppard
Pour Some Sugar On Me-Def Leppard
    Bringin' On the Heartbreak-Def Leppard
Brass Monkey-Beastie Boys (License To Ill is still a disc I play all the way through)
    Here I Go Again-Whitesnake
    Danger Zone-Kenny Loggins
    If You Leave-OMD
Don't You Forget About Me-Simple Minds
Every Rose Has Its Thorn-Poison (When I'm in a pathetic mind)
November Rain-GNR (vid. Poison song above)
    Knockin' On Heaven's Door-GNR
    Livin' On A Prayer-Bon Jovi
You Give Love A Bad Name-Bon Jovi
Tainted Love-Soft Cell -Funny story. When I was an RA, I had a stereo receiver that didn't cut the speakers when headphones were plugged in. Once I forgot about that and BLASTED the hall with this. I emerged from my room to find one of my residents out there singing it. Oops. Double check speaker A. Sung it at karaoke more than once.
Strokin'-Clarence Carter-Sang this one to a drunken crowd, too.
    Cherry Pie-Warrant
Poison-Alice Cooper (sounds like a Bon Jovi song)
Thunder Road-Bruce Springsteen (used to be Glory Days, but I cured myself of that one a while back)
    Puttin' On The Ritz-Taco
Rock Me Amadeus-Falco (one of my friends' younger sisters didn't believe this song existed until it was played for her. The idea sounded too silly.)
    Pressure-David Bowie & Queen
    Blister In The Sun-Violent Femmes
You Spin Me Round-Dead Or Alive
    Panama-Van Halen
Ice Cream Man-Van Halen (another karaoke fave-helps that my name is Dave)
    Beautiful Girls-Van Halen
    Centerfold-J. Geils Band
    More Than A Feeling-Boston
    Closer To The Heart-Rush
[List gets humiliating for a guy here. If anyone jacked my car and found these playing, they'd think I'm a total wuss. I guess I am.]
    She's A Beauty-The Tubes
    Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now-Starship
    Like A Prayer-Madonna
I'll Be There For You-Bon Jovi
99 Luftballoons-Nena (my ringtone for a while, til' I heard it from someone else's phone at WalMart)
    Love Walks In-Van Halen
    Take My Breath Away-Berlin
All I've got is your photograph...
    It's not enough
