I agree with Kimmy here. Mists of Avalon is my all time fave book. I read it every year. Plus there are 3 books that go along with.

I also recommend you ckeck out The Historian. I'm finding it a wonderful book to read right now.

I tried the Da Vinci Code, but was kind of bored by it. A lot of the information I've heard discussed in the past though. It's a good mystery book, but I didn't think it was the big deal most people have made of it.

Excatly why I am reading the book.

SQL = Structured Query Language. SQL is a computer language used to create databases. Having to brush up for work for a project. Reading it kind of makes me want to do this --->

Isn't that the book that's always on the infommercials late at night? If it is, that author seems SHADY to me!

I picked up 'Dance Upon the Air' by Nora Roberts when I was at Curve's the other day. We have a book exchange so I don't tend to buy anything but this one is really good! I've never been into Nora before but this book is the first of three in this series.

Actually, I've seen the book Stacy is talking about on the best seller list for non-fiction books. Been on there for weeks. The paper here prints the list every Sunday.

funny thing i always buy more books than i read. its usually a one/three ratio, read/bought.

    so i just recently bought:
Inside Flash MX by: Jody Keating
Don't Make Me Think by: Steve Krug
The Book of Thoth by: Aleister Crowely

    interesting mix i must say.

Just got through reading this... HIGHLY recommend!!!

A Thread of Grace by Mary Doria Russell
Set in Italy during the dramatic finale of World War II. Mary Doria Russell sets her first historical novel against this dramatic background, tracing the lives of a handful of fascinating characters. Through them, she tells the little-known but true story of the network of Italian citizens who saved the lives of forty-three thousand Jews during the war's final phase. The result of five years of meticulous research, anambitious, engrossing novel of ideas, history, and marvelous characters.
