radio station where I used to work

This is an interesting (maybe only to me) find on youtube, a video shot in the radio station I used to work for as Sunday afternoon DJ during two years of high school. Obviously, this was shot years after I worked there, but the fact that there's a video of that tiny station at all is shocking.

No need to watch the whole video (unless you're a Jessie Hemphill fan), but you can see from the opening shot it's a very small station. The room where the interview takes place is the front room where live sets or guests can set up, the window on the right is the control room where I cranked out some awesome 80's pop tunes once a week on mono AM to the entire tri-county area.

It's a gospel station now, btw, the man doing the interview is Jessie Ross (wonderful man), once the Sunday morning dj who I took over from every week, and now the owner of the station.

Just wanted to offer proof that I was indeed once in the radio business (just barely)

Oh this reminds me of the station my Dad used to work for as a DJ. It was really small. I remember doing this show on Saturday morning called "Teen Time." That's a show where different schools would pick students to DJ and take requests. It was pretty cool. I doubt there are any videos of that station on Youtube, but I should check.
