    Thumbs up Star Trek

I have seen this movie twice now, and I can tell you, without a doubt, with the exception of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, this is the best Science Fiction movie of all time.

Even if you don't know ANY of the original, or subsequent shows, you will still LOVE this movie. TONS of action, great visual effects, a great story, and a ton of suspense.

There's only about three "slow" scenes in the entire thing, but they all set up further storylines.

I cannot recommend this highly enough if you like SciFi movies!

Saw it. Loved it. I thought the casting was great. They had the personalities of the original characters perfected. I was particularly impressed with Karl Urban as McCoy and Syler from "Heroes" played a very convincing Spock. I hope this will be the first in a new series of movies with these actors.

This was a great movie. I saw it last night with my Mom, aunt and uncle. I LOVED Simon Pegg as Scotty and Urban was a great McCoy. JJ Abrahms did a wonderful job. I'd go see this movie again. You know when the the movie is so good the whole audience applauds at the end.

    Re: Star Trek

It is a great movie, but I wouldn't say its the best Sci-fi movie of all time.
But it does give the series a great reboot and hopefully the next movie will give us a full blown story.
