I haven't missed an episode yet! I think Sam Dunn has done an amazing job with this documentary and breaking down each sub-genre of metal. A perfect fit for the VH1 Classic network but I'd love to see more shows like this on the regular VH1 channel which seems to be entirely reality based.

I have enjoyed the series. Sam Dunn has done a lot of good documentaries. I believe he was the one who did the Lemmy one. There is talk he is going to do one on Alice Cooper. About the only episode I didn't like was the one on glam metal. He left out a lot of important bands and while it is all a matter of opinion, I think it is possible to really like the heavy, true metal bands while also enjoying more of the pop metal bands as well. Some of the bands are extremely talented.
    Hard rock and metal forever.

Scandal, I definitely think you're right. As a fan, I like all different types of hard rock and metal. I would say mainly I like bands that are classified as glam but a lot of times the bands within these subgenres vary widely. Skid Row compared to Poison compared to Cinderella - all three bands are so different. Skid Row is more metal, Poison is more pop, and I would say Cinderella has a strong blues influence. I love glam/hair bands but I also like bands in the NWOBHM, thrash, early influence categories.
