Songs not on Billboard but charted on Cashbox

I was checking out the old Cashbox magazine charts and noticed songs that made the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart made the Cashbox Top 100 chart. And some that made the Cashbox Top 100 but not the Billboard Hot 100 nor the Bubbling Under chart. I am looking for these songs that made the Cashbox 100 chart but not the Billboard 100.

Jimmy Castor - Can't Help Falling In Love With You (1980)
Steve Walsh - Every Step Of The Way (1980)
Touch - When The Spirit Moves You (1980)
Southside Johnny/Asbury Jukes - On The Beach (1980)
Tom Browne - Funkin' For Jamaica (1980)
    Rupert Holmes - Blackjack (1980)
Point Blank - Let Me Stay With You Tonight (1980)
Billy Joe Royal - You Really Got A Hold on Me (1980)
Delroy Morgan - I'll Do Anything For You (1980)
Gene Cotton ft American Ace - Bein' Here With You Tonight (1981)
    Teddy Baker - It's Over (1981)
Curtis Mayfield - She Don't love Nobody (But Me) (1981)

Any little bit helps. Thanx in advance!

This is an interesting topic. I'm sorry but I don't have any of these songs, but I'll have to try to listen to some of them on youtube- if they're available. Where did you find the Cashbox charts? Are they available online?

Re: Songs not on Billboard but charted on Cashbox

The songs from Touch and Steve Walsh are available from iTunes. I added "When The Spirit Moves You" to my collection- it's has that great early 80's pop/rock sound.

I googled the Cashbox charts and was surprised to find them available in their entirety. I guess since Cashbox is defunct, there is no copyright infringement for their archives.

Just when it looks like my 80's research is done, I have another portal to look for 80's songs I haven't heard before. Thanks again for your post Carmen!
