    Cool

Teddy, I hope everything is ok with your aunt Sweetie. Best wishes to her.

Trixter, dude, I'm so there! This is definately the best movie I've seen in forever. I may be going out on a limb here, but I'm doing it....Lord of the Rings is the Star Wars of this generation. There, I said it. *will now duck in case things start flying*

Hope your aunt is ok, man. Best wishes to her for a speedy recovery!

As for your Star Wars comment, that is absolute blasphemy! Just for that, the Force won't be with you! LOL

I'm not sure we can declare LOTR to be this generation's SW just yet. As far as movie quality, LOTR is just as good or better. But as far as cultural impact, it's got a long way to go to rival SW. Part of that, I think, is that many people already were familiar with the writings of Tolkien, whereas the whole SW story was a complete surprise! SW was a watershed in cinematic innovation also (I know, so was LOTR, in some people's opinion).

Will LOTR have the same impact? Perhaps, even probably, but it's too soon to tell. Besides, I haven't had the chance to play with the LOTR action figures yet.

    GREAT!!!!!!!!

I think Lord of the Rings should do a clean sweep at the awards counter. Harry Potter was good but this was exceptional............
