1) Bon Jovi
2) Poison
3) Warrant
4) Whitesnake
5) Motley Crue (not sure if a hair band or not?)
my two cents worth: I don't consider the following as hair bands
Def Leppard- well maybe after pyromania they turned that way
Kiss- they tried for a couple years, lick it up etc
Van Halen-DLR, Sammy and Eddie did have hair, but it stops there
Guns and Roses- weren't they they the alternative to hair bands when Appetite for destruction came out?
(please rememeber I don't really know anything, I'm just giving my opinion)

Re: Top 5 Hair Bands
It's kinda hard to decide because you don't know if you want to pick them by record sales or hair size. So, my choices are:
Poison
Bon Jovi
Faster Pussycat
Stryper
Twisted Sister

1. White Lion
2. Dokken
3. Motley Crue
4. Poison
5. Ratt
I would include Stryper but they are Christian Hair Metal. They basically sang about god and good things. But still they rock!
