Black-n-Blue, Guffria, LA Guns, Keel, Tora Tora, Faster Pussycat, Kix, Pretty boy Floyd, Mr. Big, Dangerous Toys, Firehouse, and Danger Danger should be a good start for you.

    Talking

I don't think anyone has mentioned Babylon A.D. or Tim Karr yet. Both had good first albums - especially Babylon A.D.!

Oh, and I'm new here - hello!

I remember the Cycle Sluts! That song cracked me up! I vaguely remember the vid for it. I think I may have it somewhere among the various tapes of Headbanger's Ball episodes I have. Might be worth looking for...I'm always up for a good laugh.

Samboragirl ~ you're welcome! You should post an intro in the Introduce Yourself forum so that everyone can welcome you proper.

I remember bits and peices of it,
I think it's filmed in black and white, and the girls are in a bar, and they're slamming tables and stuff.
It was one of those in you face type of videos!
Hope you have luck finding that tape! It was definitely a Head Bangers Ball treasure!!

I remember Cycle Sluts, too. I think I have an old tape somewhere of the Morten Downey Jr. show (remember that one?) that a couple of the girls were on! One of them was Queen something and the other was Honey.

Oh, and I did just post a thread in the introduction forum. Thanks!

I remember the Cycle Sluts From Hell. Pretty cool song if I recall. I think there were 4 ladies, all dressed in black tights, with chains hanging from a stone wall in the background.

I just thought of two bands, Lethal and Tyketto. Each of them had at least one song that was pretty cool. Maybe they were among the many one-hit wonders of hair bands

Correct me if I'm wrong...as I probably am, but wasnt Vixen created to be the all female version of Poison? For some reason I want to say Poison was actually in a video of theirs.

I just saw the video for "Edge Of A Broken Heart" a few days ago and Rikki Rockett is in it, for sure - I don't remember if the other guys are. I don't think Vixen was "created" to be a female Poison, though. That was just the style of the time.
