Definitely Murray Head. The others did have more success. What about Peter Godwin and his song Images Of Heaven? Anybody heard of that one? Seen the sexy video? It is still one of my all time favorites.

I don't find it odd at all.
Even today, if you compare the music chart of the US with the music chart of Europe, you will see that there are major differences. Europeans have always been tackier, and always loved the more popish sound to music, and me too! I have been doing my own research for one hit wonders, and I came upon a book called "One hit wonders of the 70's and the 80's". I found it at a site called "FetchBook". I purchased the book with almost 20% reduction, and if you are an 80's fan - you would love it too. The book can be found in: http://www.fetchbook.info/fwd_descri...793550513.html
Let me know what you thought. One of my favorite 80's one hit songs is Desirable with "Voyage, Voyage". I thought it had a really unique sound to it...

Hard one to call - shame that Thomas Dolby didn't build on his success of his hit "She Blinded Me With Science" which I thought people thought of as a novelty hit, as it featured Magnus Pyke.

He's had quite a few UK hits, including "Windpower" and "Radio Silence"

    I voted for Thomas Dolby.

I voted for Icehouse because that had 2 hits--Crazy & Electric Blue. However, unlike most, I consider a song a hit if it placed anywhere on a Billboard chart and/or if it is one that gets constant radio play but didn't chart.
