We need a list of the top 100 movies of the 80s!

In the fine tradition of the AFI 100 Years, 100 Movies lists, I think that we should make a list of the Top 100 Movies Of The 80s. I feel that this decade was a wonderful time for movies. If I could get assistance from the higher-ups of this fine board, maybe we could make this a poll, and then possibly make a TV special out of the results. We need a list of potential nominees first. I could probably think of a few dozen off the top of my head (Some of these are personal favorites that I feel are representative of the decade, while others are those that have been acknowledged by many media types as being defining of the era):

That sounds good, Sal. We can make it a 200-movie list, and then weed out from there the 100 movies that best captured the 80s. No one mentioned Blade Runner. :crying2 It is THE Best Science Fiction movie ever, but especially of the 80's! It is so good! Harrison Ford rocks in this. If you haven't seen it you must run out and rent it! I love that movie.
